My Morning Prayer of Protection
Father God, I plead Your protection over myself; my mind, my health and my physical well-being. I plead Your protection over that which concerns me; all of my family, my friends, my ministry, my livestock, foul and pets, my means of transportation, my finances and my sources of income.
I plead Your protection above, within and below my house, and all around it. And I plead Your protection over the road that I live on and all paths that lead to my home.
I ask that a line of protection would drawn around on around my property and the property of those who live near me; that no evil should befall us, nor any plague or storm or evil entity come near us or our dwellings.
I ask you Lord to refresh those You use to who maintain your hedge of protection that guards me and that which concerns me.
I command all plots the enemy has set against me and all curses which have been spoken over me to be broken in the name of Jesus, and blessings to be released. Father, I thank you for your divine peace that consoles me and for blessing my coming in and going out both now and forever more, in Jesus Name. Amen.

Psalm 18:10
Yahweh – The Self-Existent One “I Am” – the One who was, and is, and is to come. Time exists within Him. He is sustained by nothing, yet sustaining all things. He is holy, eternal, and complete in Himself. Everything you need—your Keeper, Defender, Provider, and ever-present Help—is found in Him. He alone is the true and living God, worthy of endless praise. (Exodus 3:13–14; John 1:1–3, 14; 8:58; Colossians 1:15–16)
Adonai – Lord / Master He is the sovereign Lord over all, the One to whom all creation bows. His leadership is perfect, His judgments are righteous, and His love is steadfast. You are His treasured possession. He delights in you and invites your whole-hearted devotion and trust. (Psalm 97:9; Job 38:4–7; Ephesians 4:4–6; Philippians 2:9–11)
Yahweh-M’kaddesh – The Lord Who Sanctifies has set you apart for Himself. Through the blood of Jesus, He has made a way for you to be holy, cleansed, and made new. By His Spirit, He teaches you how to walk in freedom and purpose, not conformed to this world, but transformed thru His word by the Holy Spirit. (Leviticus 20:8; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; John 1:29; 1 Peter 1:18–19)
Yahweh-Rohi – The Lord My Shepherd calls you by name and leads you with care. In seasons of peace and in valleys of sorrow, He is your constant guide and protector. He provides, restores, and comforts, never leaving your side. He is your Shepherd and Friend. (Psalm 23; Isaiah 40:11; John 10)
Yahweh-Shammah – The Lord Is There, you are never alone. He is present in your past, with you at this moment, and is already at work in your future. He orchestrates your steps, refining your faith and preparing you to win every battle. His presence is your anchor and refuge—He is Emmanuel, God with us. (Ezekiel 48:35; Psalm 139:7–12; Colossians 1:26–27; Genesis 16:13)
Yahweh-Rapha – The Lord Who Heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. In Jesus, you are reconciled to God, and healing flows—spiritually, emotionally, physically. He restores relationships and lifts shame. He is the restorer of your soul. (Exodus 15:26; Isaiah 61:1; Psalm 103:2–3; Isaiah 53:4–6)
Yahweh-Tsidkenu – The Lord Our Righteousness. Not by your efforts, but through Jesus finished work on the cross, you’ve been made righteous before God, who is now your Father, too. The righteousness of Jesus covers you and maintains your standing and your identity which are now found in who He is. Because of Him, you are justified, made acceptable and received by God. (Jeremiah 23:5–6; Genesis 15:5–6; Romans 3:21–26; 5:9)
Yahweh-Sabaoth – The Lord of Hosts commands the armies of heaven and fights your battles with you; No weapon formed against you shall prosper. He is your defender, your shield, and your refuge in every conflict. (Isaiah 6:1–3; Psalm 91:11–12; 2 Kings 6:15–18)
Yahweh-Jireh – The Lord Will Provide. He provided the Lamb—Jesus Christ—as the atonement for your sin. And He continues to meet your needs, seen and unseen, known and unknown. You can trust His timing, His provision, and His faithful care. (Genesis 22:13–14; John 1:29; Romans 8:32; 1 John 1:7)
Yahweh-Nissi – The Lord Is My Banner. His banner over you is love. He is your victory and your strength. When battles come, He raises His standard above your life. Through prayer and the Word, He empowers you to stand firm and overcome. (Exodus 17:15; Psalm 20:5–8; Song of Solomon 2:4)
Yahweh-Shalom – The Lord Is Peace. True peace is not the absence of trouble, but the presence of God. As you entrust your fears to Him, His peace guards your heart and steadies your mind. He is your calm in the storm and your rest in the chaos. (Judges 6:24; Psalm 46:1–3; Isaiah 26:3; John 14:27)
Yahweh-Gmolah – The God of Recompense is just and faithful to repay. When you release bitterness and trust Him with your pain, He works all things toward redemption. He brings justice without vengeance and reconciliation without striving. (Jeremiah 51:56; Romans 12:19; Matthew 6:12)
Elohim – God (Triune Creator) The triune, majestic God Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—created the universe by His word. He reigns in sovereign power and infinite wisdom, present in every moment and space. He is the One through whom all things exist and hold together. (Genesis 1:1; Psalm 24:7–10; Isaiah 40:28–31)
El Shaddai – God Almighty / All-Sufficient One is more than enough. He nurtures, sustains, and protects. In your weakness, His strength is made perfect. He satisfies your deepest longings and keeps every promise He has made. (Genesis 17:1; Psalm 139:1–6)
El Elyon – God Most High No one outranks Him. He is above all thrones, all rulers, and all false gods. He is exalted, sovereign, and glorious. All wisdom and power belong to Him, and He alone offers salvation to those who seek Him. (Deuteronomy 7:21; Isaiah 45:22; Revelation 4)
El Gibbor – Mighty God / The Hero is your Champion—the divine warrior who fights for you and never fails. With unmatched strength, He protects and leads His people in love and authority. His might is fierce, and His mercy is tender. (Isaiah 9:6; Isaiah 41:10; Revelation 4:8)
Jesus / Yeshua –Yahweh is salvation. He is “the Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.” His very name tells the story of God’s heart; to rescue, redeem, and restore all who call upon Him. It is the name that carries ultimate authority in heaven and on earth, the name through which every promise of God finds its “Yes.” He is the fulfillment of every name of God revealed in Scripture, the Good Shepherd, the Prince of Peace, the Mighty God, the Righteous Judge, the Redeemer, the Healer, the Provider, every attribute, every title, every revelation of God’s nature finds its complete expression in Him. To know Jesus is to know the fullness of who God is (Matthew 1:21-23, John 1:14, 1:29, 4:25–26, 6:35, 8:12, 10:11, 14:6, 14:9, , Revelation 19:16)
Proclamations of Victory through Christ
Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven. Psalms 119:89
Romans. 12:21 - Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
When Satan tries to overtake me, I will counter his intentions by lifting up praise, honor, or thanksgiving to the Lord. When I overcome darkness by inserting that which brings light into the situation, Satan's power is immediately wiped out. I will overcome evil with good, for God has given me the power to do so.
I John 4:4 - Greater is He that is in me, than he who is in the world.
When I embraced Jesus, everything changed—my identity, my purpose, and my very essence were renewed. The Holy Spirit, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead, now resides within me. With His divine strength coursing through my being, every attack from the enemy only serves to propel what is good and aligned with God’s will in my life. No weapon formed against me shall prosper!
Psalms 23:4 - Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
I will not fear, even in the darkest valleys of life. The Lord is with me, guiding me with His rod of authority and protecting me with His staff of care. Death for the believer is only a shadow, for His life is in me. His presence drives away evil and His comfort surrounds me. No shadow can overcome me, because His light goes before me and His hand steadies me.
Isaiah 54:14 - In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you. My righteousness comes from Jesus and sets me apart from the world.
Though I may experience difficulties like the world, I will not be crushed along with the rest of the world. Yes, I have witnessed before and will witness again the Lord standing in the way of my enemy. His faithfulness dwarfs all the power of my adversary, giving me no reason to dread.
Galatians 1:4-5 - Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
When I consider the price Jesus paid for my sin, how can I question His sovereignty? Though He may lead me through what seems to be the valley of the shadow of death, He stands between me and the evils of this age, protecting me from its entanglements, all to the praise of His glory.
Psalm 91:10-11 - No evil shall befall you nor shall any plague come near your dwelling. For He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up lest you dash your foot upon a stone.
I am a citizen of heaven, a child of God. As Jesus was ministered to by heaven’s angels, I too am protected and ministered to by them and kept from confounding trouble.
James 1:25 - But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the word, this one will be blessed in what he does.
As I live within the liberating confines of God's instruction by taking note and walking out what I have heard, the Lord will see to it that everything that I do will be blessed to His glory.
Psalm 1:3 - He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.
By delighting myself in the Lord and in His word, my life is always fruitful. In the easy times as well as in the difficult, it is fruitful.
I Peter 5:7 - Cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you.
As I release that which disquiets my heart to the Lord, I place myself in a front-row seat where I can observe His faithfulness concerning the matter. Always at the last minute, He removes or transforms any obstacle that would have come into my path and uses it to my favor.
Ephesians 6:16 - Above all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
Faith is a substance, not a figment of my imagination. Though the full armor of God is made of light, its metal is more dense than tempered steel. The height, width, depth, and thickness of the shield are forged when I draw light from the Lord by reading and meditating on His word and then igniting it with prayer. The double-edged sword of the Spirit, through which I am able to cut down the enemy's lies, is also forged in the same way, giving it sharpness, length and unbreakable strength.
Revelation 12:11 - And they overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony and they did not love their lives to the death.
The blood of Jesus shelters me from Satan’s reach; Satan cannot maul my soul. Recalling the Lord’s great faithfulness during times when matters were drastic or trite, any thoughts of denying Him my life when persecution comes will not be considered. I will be thoroughly stable in my decision to die for Him.
James 4:6-7 - But He gives more grace. Therefore, He says: “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
By raising myself up through pride, I align myself with that which opposes the sovereignty of God. The Lord’s power is disbursed to the humble-obedient which gives me the ability and power to push against and overcome Satan’s deceptive roars. Bottomline: pride binds and oppresses; Humility liberates and frees.
Isaiah 30:20-21 - Although the Lord has given you bread of hardship and water of oppression, He, your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher. Your ears will hear a word behind you, "This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the right or to the left.
God, through His sovereignty causes all things that should have crippled me to enhance my being, like tempered steel gains strength through intense heat and repeated blows. My ability to stand firm in God's power has been amplified by the workings of His Spirit. As He speaks, I will confidently move forward into new glories that He has already prepared for me.
Proverbs 10:10 - The Name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous run to it and are safe.
The name of the Lord is real shelter (Yahweh Tsebaoth), real provision (Yahweh Jireh), real healing (Yahweh Rophe), real protection (Yahweh Nissi), real peace (Yahweh Shalom), and real mercy (El-Rachum). Regardless of the battles I face, by living in the depths of His name, He enables me to stand righteously before Him and all of Heaven.
John 14:27 - Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives do I give. So let not your heart be troubled and do not be afraid.
The world’s peace will cost me more than I can afford and it offers nothing. Just as a mirage offers hope to those who are thirsty, so what the world offers isn't real. The Lord's peace is a constant presence in my life and is woven through complete trust and rest in what God has said. Thus, I need not be troubled by the fears that cause men’s hearts to faint.
Zephaniah 3:17 The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.
The Lord my God is with me. He is mighty to save, and His power upholds me. I am His beloved, and He rejoices over me with gladness. His love quiets my fears and steadies my heart. I am the delight of His song, for He sings over me with joy. My identity is secure in His presence, and I live as one celebrated by my God.
Deuteronomy 28:13 - And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.
The Lord has made me the head and not the tail. In Christ, I walk in authority, influence, and forward movement. I will rise and not sink, for He has set me above and not beneath. I am established in His blessing, and as I obey His Word, He orders my steps and secures my path.
Proclamations of Peace
Isaiah 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.
I anchor my mind on the Lord. My peace is not fragile, because it is fastened to His faithfulness. I trust Him, not just with outcomes, but with the in-between. And He keeps me whole, grounded, and at rest.
Philippians 4:6–7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Anxiety has no claim on me. I trade it for trust and pour out my heart to the One who listens. As I release my worries to Him, His peace, stronger than logic, deeper than reason, wraps around my heart and guards my mind in Christ.
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
The peace Jesus gives is not shallow or shifting; it is His very presence. I reject fear and trouble. My heart is not a hostage to the chaos of this world; it is held steady by the One who speaks, “Peace, be still.”
Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
I welcome the peace of Christ as the authority in my heart. It overrules panic, overrides confusion, and invites thanksgiving to rise. I was made to live in His peace.
Psalm 4:8 In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.
I will not fear the night or the unknown. My rest is not based on the absence of danger but on the presence of the Lord. I lie down in confidence, guarded by His goodness.
Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
The more I believe, the more peace flows. God is the Source of unshakable hope and overflowing joy. By His Spirit, I abound in the kind of peace that refuses to give up.
Proverbs 12:20 Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil, but counselors of peace have joy.
I will sow peace wherever I go. I refuse to entertain offense, gossip, or division. As I align with the Prince of Peace, joy becomes the fruit of my path.
Psalm 29:11 The Lord gives strength to His people; the Lord will bless His people with peace.
Peace is not passive—it is a blessing from God that carries strength. I am not fragile in the Lord; I am fortified. His peace stabilizes my soul and empowers my steps.
Matthew 11:28–29 Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
I come to Jesus just as I am: worn, busy, and stretched thin. He doesn’t add weight; He removes it as I walk as He walked, in gentleness and humility. It is there that I find true rest for my soul.
Psalm 85:8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak, for He will speak peace to His people, and to His saints; but let them not turn back to folly.
I tune my ears to heaven. The Lord is not shouting condemnation; He is whispering peace. I will not return to what once enslaved me. I move forward, led by the voice of truth.
2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.
Peace isn’t seasonal, it’s constant, because the Prince of Peace is with me in every situation. Whether in storms or stillness, I carry His peace within and reflect it outwardly.
Isaiah 32:17 The work of righteousness will be peace, and the work of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.
As I walk in righteousness; right standing with God, peace is the result. His Spirit quiets my inner world and teaches me to trust Him beyond what I can see.
1 Peter 5:6-7 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.
Peace comes from surrendering. When I let go and trust the Lord, I’m not just sidestepping conflict; I’m opening myself up to the incredible guidance, comfort, and peace of the Holy Spirit. This allows me to truly experience His faithfulness and truth in ways that are both significant and transformative.
Psalm 119:165 Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble.
Because I love His Word, peace guards my path. Distractions and offenses lose their grip. I am rooted, grounded, and unshaken by what others may say or do.
James 3:17–18 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
As I walk in the wisdom of God, I reflect His genuine kindness by actively listening and interacting with others; especially those I perceive are less than me. By reflecting Jesus, they will come under His covering of peace and be drawn to Him.
Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness and self-control.
Peace isn’t something I force; it’s something the Holy Spirit produces in me. As I live within His confines, I experience new freedoms in peace that grow naturally, like fruit from a vine.
Mark 4:39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace, be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
The same Jesus who calmed the storm speaks into mine. I invite His voice into the chaos of my life and receive His command: “Peace, be still.” And the waves obey.
Isaiah 54:10 For the mountains shall depart And the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed," Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.
Everything around me may tremble, but God’s peace toward me remains unshaken. His covenant of compassion is my constant, even in uncertain times.
Proclamations for Courage and Peace
Psalm 119:89 - Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven.
God’s Word is eternally fixed, unwavering, and beyond the reach of circumstance.
Habakkuk 2:3 - For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.
By recalling God’s past faithfulness, I silence fear. What He whispered in the secret place, though delayed, is steadily approaching. His timing is perfect.
Isaiah 49:15–16 - Can a woman forget her nursing child and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you. Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands.
I am joined to the Lord; I am never alone. By His Spirit, I am nurtured. By His face, I am drawn close. By His righteousness, I am kept. By His hand, I am sustained. He has made Himself everything I need.
Proverbs 3:5–6 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
I will not fear, for the Lord is aligning every step. My trust is in Him, not in what I can figure out. I thank Him now for what He is already bringing to pass.
Isaiah 41:10 - Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
I will not fear, for the Lord is with me. I will not be dismayed, for He is my God. I am His beloved child, chosen and secure in His love. I am also His warrior, upheld by His righteous right hand. He strengthens me with His power and helps me in every weakness. My identity is rooted in Him, and I walk fearless, belonging to the Almighty and armed with His strength.
Psalm 46:1–3 - God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth gives way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea.
Though everything around me is shaken, I will not be. The Lord surrounds me. I will be still and know that He is God—and I will rest in who He is.
2 Timothy 1:7 - For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
The mind of Christ lives within me—infused with power, love, and stability. I am not governed by fear, but by the Spirit who secures my thoughts and directs my peace.
Psalm 16:8 - I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
The Lord is the steady core of my being. He holds me in place. Because He is near, I remain stable and unshaken.
Isaiah 26:3 - You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.
My peace does not come from circumstance—it flows from trust. I fix my thoughts on Him, and He anchors me in rest.
Psalm 119:50 - My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.
Suffering refines me; it strengthens my faith. And through it, I see His promises come alive—faithful to preserve and carry me forward.
Psalm 55:22 - Cast your cares upon the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous fall.
I lay my burdens down and rest in His care. He never fails—He always lifts.
Psalm 119:71 - It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrease.
Affliction teaches me. It uncovers what resists the nature of Christ within me. That resistance must go—so His message through me stays pure.
Joshua 1:9 - Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Any thought that contradicts God’s Word is a lie. Lies breed fear and keep me from stepping into victory. Truth gives me courage to walk in faith.
2 Samuel 22:31 - God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to Him for protection.
God’s Word may feel confining to the flesh—but it is liberating to the spirit. In His truth, I find shelter, strength, and safety.
1 Chronicles 28:20 - Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. He will see to it that all the work related to the temple of the Lord is finished correctly.
I walk by faith, not by sight. God's power advances me. I am born again of His Spirit—His temple. And He will complete the good work He has begun in me.
Psalm 27:1 - The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?
Jesus is my Savior, my Keeper, and my Reward. He is my strength and my shield—so what shall I fear?
Psalm 34:19 - Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.
The Lord alone delivers me. Trusting in myself—or in others—to save me will disappoint. But He is always faithful. He rescues me from every storm.
Psalm 37:4 - Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.
By delighting in Him, I find my true desire—His presence. In that place, I dwell in safety and satisfaction.
Psalm 23:5 - You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Isolation, lack, and rejection are defeated at His table. In His mercy, He becomes my abundance—my Friend, my covering, my overflowing portion.
Hebrews 12:14 - Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
Peace is not weakness—it’s pursuit. I choose to be a peacemaker, even when it costs something, because I want to reflect the holiness of the One who lives within me.
Psalm 119:133 - Direct my footsteps according to Your word; let no sin rule over me.
His Word orders my steps, and peace follows His path. I do not stumble in the dark—I walk in the light of His leading, free from the grip of sin.
Ephesians 2:14 - For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility.
Peace isn’t something God sends—it’s who He is. Jesus Himself is my peace. He tore down the wall that separated me from God, and He has destroyed every barrier of hostility. In Him, every wall—within my heart, in my relationships, and between people groups—is brought down. I live in His peace, reconciled to God and united in His love.
John 16:33 - These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
Though great trouble is coming, my heart will remain unshaken. Jesus is greater than anything that may come at me. He has defeated the ruler of this world, enabling me to overcome the wiles of Satan and cast him beneath my feet.
Verses that Diminish Feelings of Inadequacy

John 4:4 ....Greater is He that is in me, than he who is in the world. When I embraced Jesus, everything changed—my identity, my purpose, and my very essence were renewed. The Holy Spirit, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead, now resides within me. With His divine strength coursing through my being, every attack from the enemy only serves to propel what is good and aligned with God’s will in my life. No weapon formed against me shall prosper!
Psalms 23:4 ...I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thy rod (the word) and Thy staff (the Holy Spirit) lead and console me with peace.
Isaiah 54:14 ...In righteousness you shall be established; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near you. My righteousness comes from Jesus and sets me apart from the world. Though I may experience difficulties like the world, I will not be crushed along with the rest of the world. Yes, I have witnessed before and will witness again the Lord standing in the way of my enemy. His faithfulness dwarfs all the power of my enemy, giving me no reason to dread.
Galatians 1:4 ...Who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. When I consider the price Jesus paid for my sin, how can I question His sovereignty? Though He may lead me through what seems to be the valley of the shadow of death, He stands between me and the evils of this age, protecting me from its entanglements, all to the praise of His glory.
Psalm 91:10-11 …No evil shall befall you nor shall any plague come near your dwelling. For He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up lest you dash your foot upon a stone.I am a citizen of heaven, a child of God. As Jesus was ministered to by heaven’s angels, I too am protected and ministered to by them and kept from confounding trouble.
James 1:25 ....But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the word, this one will be blessed in what he does.As I live within the liberating confines of God's instruction by taking note and walking out what I have heard, the Lord will see to it that everything that I do will be blessed to His glory.
Ephesians 6:16 ...Above all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.Faith is a substance, not a figment of your imagination. Though the full armor of God is made of light, its metal is denser than tempered steel. The height, width, depth, and thickness of the shield are forged when we draw light from the Lord by reading and meditating on His word and then igniting it with prayer. The double-edged sword of the Spirit, through which we cut down the enemy's lies, is also forged in the same way, giving it sharpness, length and unbreakable strength.
Revelation 12:11 ...And they overcame him (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony and they did not love their lives to the death.The blood of Jesus shelters me from Satan’s reach; Satan cannot maul my soul. Recalling the Lord’s great faithfulness during times when matters were drastic or trite, any thoughts of denying Him my life when persecution comes will not be considered. I will be thoroughly stable in my decision to die for Him.
James 4:6-7 ...But He gives more grace. Therefore, He says: “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.By raising myself up through pride, I align myself with that which opposes the sovereignty of God. The Lord’s power is disbursed to the humble-obedient which gives me the ability and power to push against and overcome Satan’s deceptive roars. Bottomline: pride binds and oppresses; Humility liberates and frees.
Psalm 1:3 ...He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.By delighting myself in the Lord and in His word, my life is always fruitful. In the easy times as well as in the difficult, it is fruitful.
I Peter 5:7 ...Cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you.As I release that which disquiets my heart to the Lord, I place myself in a front-row seat where I can observe His faithfulness concerning the matter. Always at the last minute, He removes or transforms any obstacle that would have come into my path and uses it to my favor.
Isaiah 30:20-21 …Although the Lord has given you bread of hardship and water of oppression, He, your Teacher will no longer hide Himself, but your eyes will behold your Teacher. Your ears will hear a word behind you, "This is the way, walk in it," whenever you turn to the right or to the left.God, through His sovereignty causes all things that should have crippled me to enhance my being. Like tempered steel gains strength through intense heat and repeated blows, my ability to stand firm in God's power has been amplified by the workings of His Spirit. As He speaks, I will confidently move forward into new glories that He has already prepared for me.
Proverbs 10:10 …The Name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous run to it and are safe.The name of the Lord is real shelter (Yahweh Tsebaoth), real provision (Yahweh Jireh), real healing (Yahweh Rophe), real protection (Yahweh Nissi), real peace (Yahweh Shalom), and real mercy (El-Rachum). Regardless of the battles I face, by living in the depths of His name, He enables me to stand righteously before Him and all of Heaven.
John 14:27 …Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives do I give. So let not your heart be troubled and do not be afraid.The world’s peace will cost more than you can afford and it offers nothing. Just as a mirage offers hope to those who are thirsty, so what the world offers isn't real.. The Lord's peace is a constant presence in my life and is woven through complete trust and rest in what God has said. Thus, I need not be troubled by the fears that cause men’s hearts to faint.
Humility
(Simplicity of Heart)
With all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love. Ephesians 4:2
Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Philippians 2:3
When pride comes, then comes shame; but with the humble is wisdom. Proverbs 11:2
Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion. Romans 12:16
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. James 4:10
Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel— rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. 1 Peter 3:3-4
Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put-on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering. Colossians 3:12

Who Does God Say I Am?
I am a child of God.
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name. (John 1:12)
I am a friend of Jesus.
No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. (John 15:15)
I have been justified and redeemed
.. . . being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus. (Romans 3:24)
I will not be condemned by God.
Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1)
I have been set free from the law of sin and death.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. (Romans 8:2)
As a child of God, I am a fellow heir with Christ
.. . . and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him. (Romans 8:17)
I have been accepted by Christ.

I have been called to be a saint.
To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by calling, with all who in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours. (1 Corinthians 1:2; cf. Ephesians 1:1; Philippians 1:1; Colossians 1:2)
In Christ Jesus, I have wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption.
But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption. (1 Corinthians 1:30)
My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who dwells in me.
Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? . . . Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?(1 Corinthians 3:16; 6:19)
I am joined to the Lord and am one spirit with Him.

I have been predestined by God to obtain an inheritance.
