About The Author
Ray Allen Rush
Ray Allen Rush is a hardworking, kind-hearted individual born in 1963 and raised on a Kansas farm. He is the youngest of 6 children and holds a bachelor's degree in social work. Living on a small homestead, he enjoys raising miniature cows, water, and land foul and propagating exotic plants and daylilies from the seed he produces. Still, his greatest love is getting to pray with people.

"A Reason to Believe; Jesus, The Cure" is a personal account of Rush’s life, having to face the oppression that he experienced most of his life and the battle that was waged against a dark spirit of oppression that led to his freedom. Rush shares that when we take Almighty God at His Word and stand on it, He will show Himself to be strong and turn around the most awful circumstances for our good.

Rush's encounters with the "unseen world" during prayer on an abandoned road near his home at night have given him a unique perspective into the spiritual battle between darkness and light that is going on all around us. He warns that our enemy is as deceptive and real as it is aggressive. Even so, he also emphasizes the love and power of God, which is more significant and ultimately breaks the power of all evil.
